FAQ & Facts
Did you know that, on average, you take a staggering 9,000 steps evey day? This is why our feet and legs have to be healthy and strong and able to cope with the demands we place on them.
At the Foot & Leg Centre, we assess the strength and stability of your feet. This includes:
Toes:
Hammer toes, claw toes and bunions can cause you a lot of grief. The imoprtant news is there are alternatives to surgery. Many people visit us seeking an alternative treatment from surgery and are so glad they did!
Arch:
The foot arch is not meant to be like the heel of the foot – that is, taking a lot of weight and force upon it. Instead, the arch is a more delicate area of the foot and should be treated as such.
Heels:
Heel pain is the single most common condition we treat. 92% of our clients achieve significant or complete relief from their heel pain.
Ankles:
Ankle sprains often contribute to chronic ankle issues many years later. We can help sore ankles and weak ankles.
Knees:
Knee pains are one of the most common conditions we treat. The foot bone is connected to the knee bone and so good knees need good feet.
Hip:
The hip can be affected by problems in the foot, ankle or knee. If your foot, ankle or knee is not functioning properly, this can cause hip pain.
Lower Back:
Many people experience lower back pain when their legs are different lengths. This tilts the pelvis and can cause lower back pain.
