Duncan Basheer Hannon plays an active role in the community and is recognised as a pro-active corporate citizen.
The Duncan Basheer Hannon approach centres on strategic partnerships, sponsorships and donations while also encouraging staff to actively engage with community events and projects.
This community focus takes Duncan Basheer Hannon across many diverse paths and locations – starting locally with helping the underprivileged in Adelaide (Hutt Street Centre). DBH staff also volunteer their time to work on community housing projects in India and Nepal under the Habitat for Humanity Program.
Sport also plays a big role at Duncan Basheer Hannon. In addition to being the preferred legal advisors for many prominent sporting bodies, one of our consultants, David Tillett, is a leading figure in world yachting as the Chairman for both the International Jury for the America’s Cup and the International Jury in Sailing, including past Olympic Games and the upcoming Games in London in 2012.
Duncan Basheer Hannon also sponsors grass roots sporting and community bodies, ensuring members of the community have the facilities to exercise, maintain a healthy lifestyle and participate in sport. DBH are also a proud member of the Quarter Club – a philanthropic group of local businesses who raise in excess of $250,000 per year in support of our aspiring Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games athletes.
